Louis Armstrong is known primarily as a legendary trumpeter and for hits such as "What a Wonderful World" and "Hello, Dolly!" But he was also a civil rights pioneer who was not afraid to put his career on the line to speak out against injustice. Join Ricky Riccardi, Grammy-winning author and Director of Research Collections for the Louis Armstrong House Museum, who will discuss this aspect of Armstrong's life, sharing rare audio, photographs and video footage.
